Where am I based ?

I am mainly based in Edinburgh! Scotland and when it comes to my services regardless if is a photo shoot or an event, I am able to cover distances from Tranent all the way to Balerno, outside of Edinburgh, no... I do not charge travel fees and I always aim to discuss and establish the location well prior to the day of the photo shoot/event in order to plan ahead the travel times in case of traffic, bad weather etc.

About myself & my work

Hi there! my name is Collins and I presume you must have had a pretty good look around my website by now or you might have just came on here! Regardless let me introduce myself : I am a fully self taught photographer and video editor, I have always been a creative and expressive person throughout my life and always eager to experiment and modify different settings to create fresh and new pieces of work! Since young I always liked being in the frame of a picture, the posing, the countdown to one before taking the photo, the sound of the flash, every step of the process felt like going through the ingredients of a recipe which at the end produced an exquisite dish, but in this case is a photo, the one of many that you go through when looking through your album at Christmas by the fire, or on the couch during your free time :) .

When it comes to photography I believe there is never such thing as "the perfect shot" but I do believe that you can get the "best shot" if you know how to use your surroundings and sense of judgement to help your objects to be in the best pose, at the best time, at the best place so you can take the best photo that will make everyone happy.

When do I pay ?

An initial deposit will be made in order to secure your booking, the amount will depend on what type of service you are looking for ( this applies only to photo shoots and event photography), the rest of the payment will be paid on the day when you meet the photographer, hourly rate and prices can be found on the brochure.

Am not too sure on what to wear, can you help?

Of course! I will be more than happy to help you choose your outfit for the day of the shoot, based on how you feel we'll make sure that you either stand out from the background or blend in perfectly and if you are bringing more friends or family to the shoot we'll make sure that everyone matches the theme and dresses accordingly.

How do I choose the location ?

If you already have a location in mind then please feel free to let me know! If you are unsure however that is totally fine also as I already have a few locations in mind from previous experiences, we'll discuss the location before the photo shoot and on the day of the photo shoot we will walk around the area and talk through the poses and the overall process.

What if I can't make it ?

That is totally fine! If you can't make it for whatever reason just make sure to give me as much notice as possible so we can re-schedule your booking and hopefully catch you when circumstances are better !

How long will my photo shoot last ?

If is just yourself then your photo shoot will usually last 1 hour , group photo shoots however can last anywhere between 1 hour and a half to 3 hours

How many people can I take with me to the photo shoot ?

As much as you want! The more the merrier, I would advice however to consider how much time everyone has to spare for the photo shoot as the last thing you want is for someone to have to leave mid way and miss the chance to get even more photos !
